White House Farm can accommodate up to 12 people for a fantastic self catering holiday with its 6 bedrooms, 3 en suite bathrooms, family bathroom, sitting room, drawing room, dining room, home cinema room, games rooms and huge kitchen / breakfast room.

The outdoor facilities include a floodlit ménage and outdoor heated swimming pool. The orchards are home to 19 different varieties of apples, pears and plums. The lake is well stocked with trout and carp and the wood, known as Likely Wood is a sight to be seen when its carpeted with bluebells in the Spring.

If, during your stay, you want to venture out and enjoy the current films available at the local cinemas then White House Farm is well positioned for you to enjoy a current movie. Chelmsford which has an Odeon cinema is 15 minutes drive away and has on average 6 / 8 films showing each week at various times throughout the day and evening. Chelmsford town centre is a great place to eat and shop before and after the film.

The shopping village of Freeport is located in Braintree, also approximately 15 minutes drive away, and is the home of a Cineworld complex which again shows at least 6 different films each week. Freeport village has a large selection of restaurants being able to eat out before or after makes its a popular venue.

The weekly film programme is subject to change each Thursday so it is always best to check with the cinema directly before you leave, you can pre-book if you want to ensure a seat for your favourite film.

White House Farm has a selection of DVD’s available for you to view during your stay in the home cinema room, you just need to provide the popcorn!
